Veroni goes to the Tennis Paradise at BNP Paribas Open
We’ve a bee in our bonnet about tennis!
After sponsoring several US tennis and golf tournaments in 2022, we kick off this year as the Official Italian Charcuterie Sponsor of the BNP Paribas Open! The tournament takes place from March 6th to 19th at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden – also known as Tennis Paradise – in the California desert, welcoming players and fans from around the world.
We are proud to be an official partner of the BNP Paribas Open that without a doubt is the biggest combined ATP Tour Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 tennis event in the world. Indeed, this competition has been named Tournament of the Year by both the WTA and the ATP Tour for a record-setting eight years – not a surprise with its high-profile facilities and 29 tennis courts, including the 16,100-seat main stadium.
Veroni lounge
For this special occasion, we will host tennis lovers at Veroni’s lounge, where spectators will be able to watch the greatest tennis players in the world while having relaxing drinks and tasting delicious charcuterie board crafted with our authentic Italian deli meats. In addition, in the Grab & Go points of the venue, Veroni products will be available to tennis lovers thanks to the numerous sampling activities planned. Any examples? Our Snack line which offers the finest, 100% made in Italy cold cuts paired with Provolone cheese, breadsticks, and dried fruit. Also, our Enjoy AperiTime line will delight tennis fans and food- lovers alike thanks to great pairing options: deli meats with cheese, olives, dried fruit, and breadsticks, perfect to experience an authentic Italian aperitivo.
In the 2022 edition of the BNP Paribas Open, the singles draw saw 25-year-old Taylor Fritz of Southern California prevail – overcoming a battered Rafael Nadal in the final – while in the doubles draw it was the home pair of John Isner and Jack Sock who triumphed. On the women’s side, World No. 1 Iga Swiatek captured the title over Maria Sakkari, while Xu Yifan and Yang Zhaoxuan lifted the trophy in women’s doubles.
We can’t wait to find out what this new edition has in store for us!
