With its intense fragrance and taste, mortadella wonderfully tops our savory version of classic cheesecake. Here the recipe:

Ingredients for 4 people

For the base:
– 7 oz of taralli, (an alternative can be Ritz crackers)
– 7 oz of butter

For the filling:
– 10.5 oz of soft cheese
– 2 tbs of lemon juice
– 1 tbs of lemon zest
– Majoram
– Salt and Pepper
– Nutmeg

For toppings:
– 3 slices of mortadella
– Pistachios


  1. In a bowl, mix the crushed taralli (or crackers) and melted butter. Stir to combine, place the mixture in 4 small round-shaped molds or cupcake molds and put them in the fridge.
  2. In another bowl, mix the soft cheese with lemon juice, freshly chopped majoram, nutmeg, salt and pepper. Add the cream cheese mixture on top of the taralli base.
  3. Place the mini tarts in the fridge until they are ready to serve and decorate them with sliced ​​mortadella and chopped pistachios.
