After our success as the official sponsor of the Indian Wells Open in the dunes of the Californian desert, we are returning to the red clay of the Foro Italico for the second year in a row. From May 6 to 19, we will be an official supplier of the 81st edition of the most important Italian tennis tournament: the Internazionali BNL D’Italia.
We are back in style, with a larger space than last year featuring an exclusive private lounge where guests can enjoy entertainment, indulge in food-tasting experiences, and discover the difference that our high-quality products offer, becoming protagonists of a new concept: “The Essence of the Aperitivo.”
“We return to the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome for the second consecutive year, capitalizing on our presence in the world of international tennis events. We are coming back from our recent success at Indian Wells in California, where we maximized our leadership position in the American market and established ourselves as one of the leading brands to taste the real Italian aperitivo,” comments our Marketing Manager Emanuela Bigi. “We also have an ambitious goal for Italy: we want to replicate the food-tasting activities we offer in the US with many different formulas and provide and offer a unique high-level experience. We have just launched an avant-gard project in Rome with which we want to promote our Emilian excellence as a fitting complement to the most innovative mixology and wine list proposals the market offers today.”
Our return to the Foro Italico was anticipated by a billboard advertising campaign on the streets of the Eternal City featuring banners and posters in subway stops, bus shelters, Eurotrams, and electric buses called “gulliver” in Italy. A maxi billboard will also stand out for the tournament duration in front of the Academy of Fine Arts.
Our cured meats at the Foro Italico
In our branded “Grab & Go” area at the Foro Italico, spectators can purchase tasty sandwiches with freshly sliced cured meats and enjoy a happy hour accompanied by carefully selected red, white, and sparkling wines and cocktails.
The products offered are intended for the Italian audience and its unique food culture. They appreciate a delicious rosetta sandwich with mortadella just as much as a generous cutting board with a selection of our most popular cured meats, from Bresaola to Coppa and Prosciutto Italiano.
Tennis champions can also try the gourmet experience of our products offered in the player and staff area: the Player Lounge. And there’s more. The cured meats of the historic charcuterie brand from Emilia-Romagna will also be available in all the hospitality areas of the Foro Italico.
The sponsorship experience that supports the most famous tennis tournaments will then continue in the summer at the Mubadala Citi DC Open in Washington (from July 27 to Aug. 4) and the Cincinnati Open (From Aug. 11 to 19), where we will be present for the third consecutive year.
