Is combining meat and fish a no-no? Time to change your mind with a truly delicious dish: hake rolls with Italian coppa and fava beans cream.
Ingredients for 4 people:
8 white fish fillets
3.5 oz of Italian coppa
1/2 glass of dry white wine
extra virgin olive oil
fresh marjoram
salt
pepper
for the fava beans cream:
10.6 oz boiled fava beans
1 shallot
extra virgin olive oil
salt
pepe
For the fava beans cream: chop the shallot and brown it in a saucepan together with oil, when it becomes transparent, add the beans and let them flavour for a few minutes. Season with salt and pepper, add the marjoram and cook for another 6-7 minutes. Blend the mixture until it is smooth and keep it warm.
Wrap the fish fillets in a slice of our coppa and transfer them to a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Add the crushed garlic, oil, and white wine. Season with salt and pepper and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve them with the cream of beans.
