The journey continues with Veroni On The Road: 10 Recipes Around The World.
This time, we travel to Eastern Europe, a region known for comforting dishes, shared tables, and authentic flavors.
Our destination introduces us to Pelmeni, one of the most iconic recipes of Eastern European cuisine. These small dumplings are traditionally made with a simple dough of flour and eggs, then filled with minced meat and gently cooked. Pelmeni are usually served hot and topped with sour cream and fresh herbs. Simple ingredients, timeless tradition.
For this stop on our global tour, we gave the recipe a Veroni twist. We reimagined the classic filling by adding Veroni Prosciutto Italiano, finely chopped and combined with ground meat and onion. The result is a balanced, flavorful filling that brings a touch of Italian quality to this beloved dish.
The pelmeni are finished with sour cream, fresh chives, and a drizzle of olive oil. Every bite is rich yet light, familiar yet surprising. It’s a recipe that connects cultures through taste, blending Eastern European comfort with Italian craftsmanship.
This dish perfectly represents the spirit of our journey: discovering traditional recipes and making them our own, without losing their original soul. A small plate that tells a big story—of travel, flavor, and passion for good food.
